There's a transaction on my card I don't recognise - what should I do?

If you don't recognise a transaction on your card, try the following steps to see if it's a transaction that you've made:

  • Checking the date and time of the transaction and see if any details are familiar to you
  • Checking the business name. Some shops may operate under a name you don't recognise
  • Checking regular payments. If you pay for any recurring services with your prepaid card compare it to previous regular payments

If you're sure the payment hasn't been made by you, make sure to mark the card as stolen by following these steps:

  1. Call 0330 808 0102 straight away
  2. Select option 2
  3. Enter your client ID - you can find this at the top of the letter the card was attached to
  4. Enter your date of birth in 8 digits, for example if you were born on the 23rd March 2002, you would enter 23032002
  5. Select option 2 to report the card as stolen

What if I don't have my client ID?

If you don't have your client ID, wait on the line for an advisor. Lines are open Monday to Friday 8am-8pm, and Saturday 8am-12pm.
