Can contactless be turned off?

Contactless payments can make the process easy and straight-forward to use. You can pay by hovering your card close to a payment terminal until the payment goes through.

Your card does not need to be inserted. In addition, it does not require a PIN or signature for most low‑value transactions.

However, if this does not work for you, contact the organisation who issued your card. They can arrange for the contactless feature to be turned off.
