Can contactless be turned off?

Contactless payments can make the process easy and straight-forward to use. You can pay by hovering your card close to a payment terminal until the payment goes through.

Your card does not need to be inserted. In addition, it does not require a PIN or signature for most low‑value transactions.

However, if you'd prefer this functionality to be switched off, contact the organisation that gave you your card as they can amend your card settings.
